Wiemann wardrobes

Wiemann is  Germany’s leading bedroom manufacturer, specialising in semi-fitted collections in both modern and traditional styles. Wiemann wardrobes are manufactured in its highly efficient factory, which is accredited to the international quality management assurance standard ISO 9001:2000. Products are also approved under the German BQ quality mark scheme.

Good value for money

The specifications are surprisingly high in relation to the price. Panels are made from 15/18mm thick high-grade chipboard and wrapped in top-quality printed foils using the latest printing technologies available, so all Wiemann wood finishes look and even feel incredibly realistic. Every day eight truckloads of high-quality particle board are used to make 10,000 individual components, which are then used to make specific orders.

Up to the mark environmentally

All timber-based materials come from sustainable sources. All the materials used in a Wiemann bedroom, such as chipboard, foils, and adhesives, meet the requirements of formaldehyde emission class “E1”.*

Independent institutes monitor Wiemann to ensure that these requirements are met. The high-quality surfaces on their solid wood products are physiologically safe and meet all industrial hygiene requirements and standards. Production facilities are all run in accordance with EU directives.

Wiemann Furniture Company

From a country inn to a leading bedroom manufacturer! Everyone can agree that “start-ups” are not what they were back in 1900, plus there wasn’t as much freedom or choice. Even so, Mathias Wiemann went on to open a sizable workshop and acquired his first machinery, putting himself on the path to slow but consistent growth. His dedication resulted in the Wiemann furniture company we know today.

Currently, the company boasts a footprint of 98,000 m2, of which 48,000mcontain the production, administration, and storage facilities. With its size, Wiemann is still privately owned, and today, it is headed by Markus Wiemann, the founder’s great-grandson, who took over from his father in 2005.

Wiemann factory in Germany

The company has nearly 600 employees, making it the second-largest employer in Osnabrück in Northern Germany. It is also among the largest bedroom manufacturers in Germany, majoring in semi-fitted collections of all styles. On average, Wiemann supplies between 400-to-500-bedroom furniture throughout the world daily.

Weinman does not keep stock to avoid damage and wastage as a culture. On each day, about 8 truckloads of top-quality particle boards are used to design up to 10,000 components, which are used to fulfil several orders.

Weinmann makes more than 200 variations of bedroom furniture that get sold to markets in Europe. Over time, the company has identified British tastes and usually designs bedroom furniture with a distinctive European style. The company’s routine and activities are guided by a varied design policy that can seamlessly change to cater to the ever-changing market demands.
